The Author Threshold Workshop — with Keira Brinton
The Author Threshold — The Door to Your Book

Your book has been waiting long enough.

A free workshop for the visionary who has carried a book for years — who has more ideas than time, and is quietly afraid that if they finally say it, no one will hear it. In one sitting, learn why it's still stuck — and how to receive the book instead of forcing it onto the page.

The book that keeps tapping on your heart was never meant to stay there.

Somewhere, a reader is waiting for the words only you can write — in the bath at midnight, in the corner of their closet, on the hardest day of their life. They've been waiting longer than you've been afraid. This is where you answer.

You already know

You were called to write it. So why is it still inside you?

It's followed you for years. Five. Ten. For some people, twenty. The book never leaves — it just keeps tapping on your heart.

You have too many ideas, not too few. They arrive in the car, in the shower, at 2am — and scatter before you can hold them.

You don't have the time. The book is always the thing that doesn't make today's list — and somehow never will on its own.

And underneath it all — the fear. That if you finally say the thing you were put here to say, it won't be heard.

It was never talent. It was never discipline. The fear of being heard simply grew louder than the book. In this workshop, we make the book louder.

Inside the workshop

Three thresholds you'll cross in one sitting.

01

Become the author first.

You don't become an author by writing a book — you write the book by becoming the author. We'll walk straight through the fears that have kept your words locked inside your body, and show your mind why it's finally safe to let them out.

02

Receive the book — don't force it.

Writing comes from the head, and the head stalls. Receiving comes from the heart, and the heart flows. You'll do a live receiving practice and watch real words arrive — with no outline, no chapter titles, no plan to get in the way.

03

The path past the blank page.

Why "outline it first" is the advice that breaks creatives — and the approach authors use to move from scattered, brilliant fragments to an actual manuscript without losing a drop of the magic.

Is this your room?

This workshop is for you if…

  • You've carried a book for years, and it won't leave you alone.
  • You have more ideas than you could ever organize — and that's the problem.
  • You're "too busy," and the book never makes the list.
  • You're afraid that if you finally say it out loud, it won't land.
  • You know, deep down, you were called to this — you just haven't crossed the threshold yet.

And it's not for everyone.

If you're looking for AI to write your book for you, this isn't your room.

This is for words that are yours — drawn out of you, organized, and finally given to the people who need them. If that's the book you've been carrying, save your seat.

Keira Brinton, founder and producer

First — who's teaching this?

You might not know me yet.

I'm Keira Brinton — founder of JŌA Publishing, a luxury publishing house built for impact-driven authors. I broke the old rules of the industry to build something it doesn't offer: a house that publishes for the author, not at their expense.

I'm also a television producer — of the hit summer show Writer's Island, and the producer and host of the talk show Lived Mastery. I've guided hundreds of authors, from stay-at-home mothers to billionaires, to finally bring the book they were called to write into the world.

I don't just publish authors. I put them on television.

You'll leave with

More than notes. A way in.

i.

A receiving practice

A simple way to sit down, drop out of your head, and let the words arrive — that you can use every time you write from here on.

ii.

The reframe

The shift that makes your mind treat the unwritten book as the real risk — so writing it finally feels like the safe choice.

iii.

Your reader, in focus

A clear picture of the person on the other side of your book — the one who is, right now, waiting for exactly your words.

Before you reserve

Questions, answered.

Is it really free?

Yes — the workshop is free to attend. All it asks of you is your presence, about 60 minutes, and a pen.

Do I need to have started my book?

Not at all. Most people in the room haven't written a word yet. Some have carried the same book for twenty years. Both are exactly where they should be.

How long is it, and what will I actually do?

Around 60 minutes. This isn't a video to half-watch — you'll be doing the practices live, on paper, as we go. Block the time and treat it like the appointment with your book that it is.

When does it run?

Sessions run at scheduled times throughout the day so you can join the next one that fits. Pick a session in the form above and we'll send your access link.

What if I can't make my time?

Come live if you possibly can — the practices only work if you're in the room. A replay isn't guaranteed, so choose a session you can truly show up for.

Will you write my book for me with AI?

No. This is the opposite of that. The whole point is to draw out the words that are yours — and give you a way to organize them into a manuscript without ever handing your voice to a machine.

The time is now

Cross the threshold.

The book has been tapping on your heart for far too long. Reserve your seat, bring a pen, and let's finally let it out.
